We held the first Tennis with a Heart charity tournament in 2011. The idea stemmed from a conversation early that year between Raouf Hadad and John Gremp regarding the American Heart Association's Heart Walk and the participation of their respective organizations.
Hurricane Harvey put a damper on 2017, but to date we've raised a little over $300,000 for our charities...and played a lot of great tennis and made really great friends along the way. Let's keep the party going!
We bid adieu last year to our home courts with the closing of the Copperfield Racquet & Health Club, but long-time supporter of the tournament, John Kudrick, is now Tennis Director at the Clubs of Kingwood and with his help we're moving to that expansive and fabulous facility. Our thanks to John, Private Events Director Mia Chargois, tournament presenters Ocean Edge Services and TechipFMC, and everyone who helped us move the tournament to Kingwood.
